Many of Aunty's long-suffering readers contacted her about the outcome of the infamous Oregon spanking trial. Many of you will recall that Aunty published some commentary on the case of two middle-schoolers arrested for
smacking some of their female peers on the bottoms.
One of Aunty's correspondents, Magenta, forwarded a link to
this article on the dismissal of the case against the two boys. It really is a good account of the process and Aunty recommends the piece to anyone interested in what some have dubbed "the spanking trial of the decade."

First of all I would like to welcome you back from wherever you dissapeared to. Many of us were worried about you.
Second of all, "Bounderies Education?", $1000 fines each for thirteen year olds? What a strange world we live in.
Seems like the boys would have benefited from a repeated application of "slapass".
