Aunty prefers to stay clear of politics, but she would be remiss in her duties as a spanking blogger if she ignored this wonderful image. This float was part of the traditional Rose Monday street carnival parade in Mainz, Germany.
Aunty must say - they really do know how to build incredible floats in Germany!

Ah yes. Ryan clearly shows why you
prefer to stay clear of politics.
And I particularly liked his
demonstration that some people
in the USA have the same impulses
as those in Germany during the
1930s. I'm sure that Thomas
Jefferson would be proud.

I tend to do agree with wintermute and anonymous. However gratuitous swearing at Germans is also very funny.
It's a bit pathetic but I laughed so hard at the first comment, I made my throat sore.
And now to politics: The real George Bush needs butt plugging and birching naked through Baghdad.
There's a huge amount of difference between mocking a nation on a blog and wanting to exterminate them. Calling it fascism cheapens the term.
