Those sorority girls and their paddles
Anna sent Aunty this pic of membership candidates waiting to present paddles to their Big Sisters at a sorority "Activation" ceremony. Anna writes:
"Hazing is banned ... (but) in practice a lot of playful paddling happens after the ceremony."Well, what can Aunty say, other than to express relief that "playful paddling" remains part of the Greek lifestyle. After all, sororities would be very boring places without the occasional sound of wood striking bottom cheeks.
